Lewis Hinkel established Hinkel Engineering in October 1996 and continues to be the engineer in responsible charge. He has been a registered engineer in the state of Ohio since 1992 and is currently registered in Ohio, Michigan and Arizona. He is a member of the American Society of Plumbing Engineers, the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers, The Association of Energy Engineers and the National Society of Professional Engineers. He is a graduate of The University of Akron (1985 BMT) and Stark State College (1980 AAS). In 2007 he became a Certified Energy Manager and a Green Building Engineer through The Association of Energy Engineers. Mr. Hinkel's experience in mechanical design work dates back to 1980 when he started employment at The Timken Company in a facilities engineering department.
