Dave Baker joined Hinkel Engineering Inc. in June of 1999 but has been designing mechanical systems since 1985 with primary emphasis in the past fifteen years on plumbing design. Dave has earned and maintains the qualifications to be Certified in Plumbing Design (CPD) through the American Society of Plumbing Engineers. He is an Associate for Hinkel Engineering, Inc. and is in charge of all Plumbing and Fire Protection design standards and oversees all Plumbing and Fire Protection design work for the firm. Mr. Baker has studied construction design at Cleveland State University earning an HVAC Design Certificate in 1983 and a Plumbing Design Certificate in 1984. Mr. Baker is a member of both the American Society of Plumbing Engineers and the National Fire Protection Association. Dave was the principal plumbing designer for Hinkel Engineering Inc. on a LEED design building at Hiram College that is presently awaiting Silver Certification.
