Dan Evans CPD, LEED AP - Senior Designer
My current position with Hinkel Engineering Inc. started in March
of 2006, however, my design experience in Plumbing Design, Fire Protection
Design and HVAC Design dates back to1982. I have earned and maintains the
qualifications to be Certified in Plumbing Engineering (CIPE) and Certified in
Plumbing Design (CPD) through the American Society of Plumbing Engineers. I am
an active member of the Cleveland Chapter of the American Society of
Plumbing Engineers. A new position that I have taken is being on the steering
comittee for the Akron Canton Extension of the Northeast Ohio branch of the
USGBC. I have graduated from Stark State College (1982 AAB) and Cleveland State
University's Concentrated Programs of HVAC (1990) and Plumbing Piping Design
(1991). In 2007 I became a LEED Accredited Professional.
Recently I
became a member of the Northeast Ohio Chapter of the USGBC Green Action Circle
for healthcare. Green Action Circles are groups of sustainable building
advocates that gather regularly to learn, grow and motivate others within their
area of interest. We have been meeting once a month with a goal of providing the
healthcare sector information on how they can become more sustainable and be
cost effective at the same time, with the resources that are currently
available.
